Qantas Short Haul EA Update No 23

Following the previous
SH EA Updates where the AFAP outlined the process underway for approval of the SH EA, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) requested the AFAP respond to Qantas submission on the compliance issues by close of business yesterday.
The AFAP provided a submission yesterday outlining the legal issues and reinforcing the agreement can be approved immediately with undertakings.

The matter has now been listed for hearing by the Fair Work Commission (FWC) before Deputy President Saunders on 16 April.
We will continue to update members as matters with the FWC progress.
