Captain Paul Hogan has served on the Jetstar Pilot Council (JPC) since 2008, including a term as JPC Committee Chair during Covid.

A Brisbane-based check and training captain, these days Paul spends most of his time in the A320 simulator.

After serving as a helicopter pilot in the Australian Army for 16 years, he flew Super Puma heavy-lift helicopters transferring FIFO workers to and from oil rigs in the North Sea.

He later worked as a B767 First Officer for Thomas Cook. He lived in Scotland for a total of six years.

Paul returned to Australia and joined Jetstar during its first year of operation. He initially checked to line on the B717 and flew the 717 for 18 months before taking a command on the A320 in early 2007.

Paul is happy to be contacted by fellow pilots who may need guidance at any time they find themselves in need.
