Capt Darrell Myers
Capt. Myers is the Executive President of the Association Luxembourgeoise
des Pilotes de Ligne (ALPL) since 2011. In this role, he actively represents the pilot profession in the national arena in Luxembourg and oversees the association’s activities internationally via the European Cockpit Association (ECA) and IFALPA structures.
Darrell is a Senior Captain on B747-400F/8F with Luxembourg’s Cargolux Airlines since 1997 and sits on the Cargolux Board of Directors. Over these 25 years he’s served on the Flight Safety Committee, represented the pilots in collective bargaining as chief negotiator and worked with senior management through collaboration to introduce mutually beneficial programs including the FRMS currently in place.
He joined the FRMS Forum Management Committee and contributes to training, promoting and advocating Fatigue Risk Management to openly discuss FRMS issues and collaboratively build a body of knowledge for the establishment of Best Practise for unencumbered use.
