AusALPA Induction – Mon 3rd Feb 2025
The AusALPA induction training is for those members intending to volunteer to become Safety and Technical representatives. We are planning one induction day for early February and another mid 2025.
IFALPA FM Course – Mid 2025
The IFALPA Fatigue Management (FM) course focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to effectively address fatigue management challenges in aviation. It brings together pilot representatives, industry FM managers, and regulatory specialists to enhance their understanding of fatigue-related safety issues, share best practices, and improve industry-wide fatigue management strategies.
Accident and Incident training – TBA in 2025
The AFAP’s Accident & Incident Training provides attendees with an understanding of the regulatory framework underpinning accident investigation in Australia, your rights, responsibilities and obligations in the case of an accident or incident and the practical steps to follow in order to protect your interests.
Safety Interview Support course – TBA in 2025
The Safety Interview Support Course helps AFAP members assist colleagues during safety interviews after operational events. It focuses on stress management, stakeholder expectations, and meeting preparation while promoting a positive safety culture. Participants gain access to resources and support to help affected pilots return to operations confidently.
