Nexus Airlines is seeking highly skilled Dash 8 – Q400 Fist Officers to join our team.

Geraldton is a coastal town just 1-hour by plane and 4-hours by road from Perth. Rich in history and abundant with stunning natural beauty it offers the perfect lifestyle balance. Geraldton has several great schools (primary and secondary), a Tafe campus, hospitals (public and private) together with a variety of shopping and great dining experiences. With a population of approximately 40,000 there is a strong sense of community.

Broome is an iconic town with an interesting history and stunning natural beauty. Life in this dynamic location for individuals and families are abundant with aquatic, sporting, camping, waterfall chasing and other recreational opportunities. Broome has access to good schools and a strong sense of community. Broome International Airport provides direct flights to Perth daily as well as other Australian capital.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include

In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:

• Assisting the operations team as required
• Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties

To be successful in this role

In addition to meeting the minimum experience qualifications, you will need to demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and have excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations. The minimum experience and qualifications are as follows:

• CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (A)
• English language proficiency – Level 6
• ICAO class 1 aviation medical
• 1500 hours total flying
• 1300 hours in command
• 100 hours multi engine command
• 100 hours command / first officer DHC8 or similar (Desirable)
• MCC Certificate (Desirable)
