Deanna is the primary contact for Virgin Group matters. She has a detailed understanding of the agreements and arrangements which apply to Virgin Group pilots and works closely with the Virgin pilot representatives to achieve the best possible result for members.
With her exceptional negotiating skills and detailed industry knowledge, Deanna has successfully negotiated the 2007, 2013, and 2018 Virgin Short Haul Agreements as well as the inaugural 2011 Virgin Long Haul Agreement and most recently the 2017 Virgin Wide Body Agreement. Deanna has also been directly involved in negotiating Agreements at VARA, Tigerair, Rex and RFDS.
Deanna commenced her professional career at the leading national employer industrial organisation Australian Industry Group (AIG) before joining the AFAP in 2005.
She has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts degrees (Deakin University).
