Prior to working in an office environment, Lennie worked in a number of industries and in a wide variety of roles. Upon completing his accounting degree, he has worked in a various business administration and accounting roles prior to joining the AFAP. Lennie has also studied Corporate Governance with CSA.
Lennie’s current position involves managing the AFAP finances (AP, AR, budgets, internal management reports, payroll, internal audits), maintaining the jobs board, and ensuring back end administration processes are well maintained and upgraded ensuring the AFAP employs best practice.
Lennie has also been involved in the implementation of a number of critical internal upgrades, including the website (on multiple occasions), membership CRM, accounting programmes, and various IT upgrades. Lennie also assists with the regulatory compliance placed on unions by the FWC & ROC.
